Angela Sanders Promoted to Partner

BCGL is proud to announce the promotion of Angela Sanders of Lancaster, Pennsylvania to partner. Sanders has been a part of BCGL’s Employment Law and Litigation Groups since 2013 and will continue to serve clients with employment and labor counseling; employment litigation; and civil litigation. As partner, Sanders will also now serve as a critical member of the leadership team that will shape the firm through continued growth.

“Throughout Angela’s career, she has been on the front lines helping her clients with everything from employer trainings and policy development to litigation,” said Theresa Mongiovi, partner of BCGL. “She embodies the notion of being a true advocate for her clients and they value her unique combination of expertise and approachability. The firm is fortunate to have Angela as a part of our leadership team.”

In addition to serving as partner, Sanders will also continue to serve clients as an attorney in the firm’s Employment Law Group where she provides day-to-day counseling to employers on a wide-range of employment topics including wage and hour issues; FMLA compliance, harassment and discrimination; hiring; employee misconduct; discipline and termination; drug and alcohol abuse; and OSHA compliance. She will also continue to assist clients with the development of employment policies and diversity plans, and with trainings about employment law topics for employers, businesses and industry groups.

Sanders represents employers in both state and federal courts. She also practices before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division, and Unemployment Compensation Board of Review. A sought-after public speaker, she has delivered seminars on various employment law topics for groups and organizations throughout the Commonwealth.

Sanders earned her juris doctorate from University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Lancaster Bar Association and will serve as the 2019 chair of the Association’s Employment Law Section. She is also a member of the Lancaster Society for Human Resources Management, where she serves as the chair of the Professional Development Committee, and the Society for Human Resources Management.
