BCGL was honored to participate as a team at the 11th Annual Hands-on House Half Marathon 10K & 5K which took place on Saturday, September 27, 2014. All proceeds of the event benefited the Hands-on House Children’s Museum.

USGA Kickoff
On July 7, 2014, BCGL Attorneys Rory Connaughton, Ted Brubaker and Stacey Morgan Brubaker helped welcome the U.S. Golf Association to Lancaster as part of the lead-up to the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, which will take place at the Lancaster Country Club from July 6-12, 2015. Rory and Ted both serve on the Executive Committee for the Championship. They are proud to be involved in bringing this prestigious event to Lancaster and highlighting our community on a national level.

MELBCGL Partner Mark Lovett has been elected as chairman of the Leadership Lancaster Board of Directors for 2014-2015. 

For the past 25 years, Leadership Lancaster has trained men and women of diverse backgrounds to be leaders of the Lancaster community.  Leadership Lancaster's purpose is to identify existing and emerging leaders, to prepare them for roles in shaping the future and to entrust them to guide the county in the years ahead.  Graduates of Leadership Lancaster can be found on almost all boards and committees of nonprofit organizations in the county.  Several BCGL attorneys have completed Leadership Lancaster's Core Class program and found it to be a valuable experience.
