Over the Edge is coming to Lancaster for the first time - are YOU in? In support of SouthEast Lancaster Health Services, Mike Hillard, Jeff Goss, Stacey Brubaker and Caroline Hess have all agreed to go "Over the Edge", but they need a little help. In order for them to have this once in a lifetime experience, they each must raise $1,000. This hardworking nonprofit cares for 22,000 of our neighbors here in Lancaster every year. And all they're asking is for us to go Over the Edge for one day. Just a small donation will go a long way to helping us meet our goal for Southeast Lancaster Health Services. Oak Leaf Manor offered a special opportunity on October 8th, free of cost, for World War II veterans to travel by bus to the World War II memorial in Washington, D.C. BCGL's own Susan Garber and Melissa Funk volunteered to serve as guardians for two veterans out of the ten total individuals that BCGL had the honor of sponsoring.

This trip was designed by Oak Leaf Manor, a premier home care living community, to honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought so courageously during World War II. To learn more about Oak Leak Manor, please click here.

Thank you to Oak Leaf Manor for coordinating the event, the guardians for their assistance, and all the incredible veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces for their service.
